Sandra L. Benson

Biography

Sandra Benson studied the classic forms of visual arts, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her MFA in Computer Arts at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. The strength of her education has permitted Ms. Benson the confidence of relying on her intuition in completing many paintings in oil, as well as creative work on the computer.

Sandra has exhibited extensively on the West Coast, as well as in the South. She has recently relocated to the Delaware Valley where she is continuing to paint, along with exploring other creative avenues. An award-winning artist herself, she also has experience in teaching, sharing her skills and love of art with a future generation of artists.
